Hello and Greetings to all of the dealers and patrons that will be attending the 2019 GrinningElk Atlanta Guitar Show. At only 180 days out, we here at GrinningElk are excited beyond words about the coming show and look forward to seeing and meeting folks from around the world. The remaining booths are selling out quickly and we are expecting over 120 dealers to attend the show this June 8th and 9th. Our team is working to secure several celebrity musicians to hold forums, sign autographs and play exhibitions on Saturday and Sunday.
The first Rock Legend to be locked in is the incomparable Michael Angelo Batio. This extraordinary guitarist will be performing several clinics on Saturday and Sunday and we’re really fired up to have him in attendance. He puts on a superb show and his playing skills are known the world over for both his fretboard wizardry and mastery of the opposing, double-necked guitar. Seeing Michael do what he does is worth the price of admission alone!
For our dealers, we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure the easiest load-in and load-out possible. There are two large ramps at the rear of the facility that can hold two vehicles at a time. There is also a ground-level bay door on the side, where loading in and out will be a breeze. This side door opens into a large and secure parking lot where any dealers can park their vehicles and leave their trailers over the weekend. No need to drag a trailer around town if you have a nice, secure parking lot to park them!
For our attendees, we say merely this: Welcome and we certainly hope to see you at the show! There will be musical instrument dealers from all over the world in attendance who will be there to buy, sell and trade everything from guitars to banjos to basses to amps. Atlanta hasn’t had a guitar show in 13 years, so if you’re looking to get a fair, cash price for that guitar or other instrument that’s been sitting in the closet for years, this will be the weekend to do it. We encourage everyone to look around and bring anything you might wish to sell or trade. If you’re in the market to buy something, the room will be filled with thousands of musical instruments and you can always “try before you buy.” The dealers that will be attending the show are the best and most knowledgeable in the industry and any questions you may have can surely be answered there.
In closing, Lee and I once again say “Welcome!” and we are looking forward to a huge crowd this June 8th and 9th at the Infinite Energy Forum in Duluth, Ga. Information about the show, the facility and lodging can be found at www.grinningelkguitarshow.com
See You All There!
Lee and Ray
